In addition to least-cost analysis, economic and financial analysis, the assignment included an assessment of the impacts of the project on the macroeconomy of Sierra Leone, and the contribution of the project towards meeting the Millennium Development Goals.  In 2006/2007, he undertook the economic analysis for the 250 MW Bujagali Hydropower Project in Uganda, as part of the IFC’s economic and financial due diligence.  Since mid-2007 he has served as Transaction Advisor to the Nile Equatorial Lakes Subsidiary Action Program (NELSAP), under World Bank funding, for the 60 MW Rusumo Falls Hydropower Project being developed by Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi.
