Asset Management
Asset Management is the art and science of making the right decisions and optimising processes.
PPA Energy consultants have been engaged with in the conception, development, deployment and evaluation of cutting-edge on-line condition assessment and incipient fault location systems, and have been for over 10 years. PPA Energy can provide independent advice on the technical and economic potential of such systems to significantly enhance system performance and extend asset life.
PPA Energy consultants have been actively involved in the development, with the Institute of Asset Management and the British Standards Institute, of the Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 55-1 & 55-2 on Asset Management. PPA Energy is in an excellent position to provide sound advice on a wide range of asset management issues.
The integration of real time asset condition information with operational conditions, customer profiles, and advanced automation and communication techniques opens the way for real time risk management systems. PPA energy consultants have been involved in the conception of major projects which investigate the potential of such techniques. We can provide independent advice on the technical and economic potential for risk management, enhanced performance and extended asset life.
